Hi, I’m Christy — the maker behind Heirloom & Hem.

What started as a love for beautiful old things, classic style, and creating with my hands has grown into a small shop centered around giving well-loved pieces a new story.

At Heirloom & Hem, I take classic button-downs and thoughtfully rework them into feminine, one-of-a-kind pieces with ruffled collars, unexpected details, and a little bit of vintage charm. Each piece is designed, cut, sewn, and finished by me in my home studio — which means no two are ever exactly alike.

I’ve always loved clothing that feels collected rather than simply purchased: pieces that remind you of something your mother or grandmother might have worn, but reimagined in a way that feels fresh, playful, and completely wearable today. That idea is at the heart of Heirloom & Hem.

I’m especially drawn to timeless Americana, preppy classics, vintage textiles, feminine details, and the idea of taking something that already exists and making it special again.
